Sao Paulo FC
Sao Paulo FC is probably my favorite team in the world. Other then it being located in my home city, this club has a lot of history and championships. This was the first team I ever saw play and I love the way they did. Yesterday I went through a very tough moment with my team because they played a game for the group stages of the Copa Libertadores, the most important trophy in the Americas, they played a team from Chile called Audax Italiano, in the Morumbi the Sao Paulo Stadium. Even though I did not watch the game through the TV, I followed it through the internet. The game was though and both sides were playing very good. Then the worst thing then happened, Villanueva the Audax attacker scored a goal. Suddenly I got a chill down my spine. Luckily 10 minutes later in the 75th minute Adriano scored a goal for Sao Paulo FC and I got so excited and started jumping up and down, but things kept getting better and better and in the 84th minute Adriano scored the goal that gave us the victory and that was a relief for me because it was such a hard game. I was so excited that jumped around my house. The main reason why I love this team is because I feel what vthe team feels wether its happy or sad or maybe even anger. This may sound silly but this team means so much to me that I cant explain it in words. This team has also produced my favorite player of all time Ricardo Izceson dos Santos Leite also known as Kaka. Currently Sao Paulo is in the playing the two tournaments: the Libertadores (Most important soccer tournament in South America), and the campeonato Paulista (Local state tournament). For the Paulista tournament Sao Paulo is in 3rd place and if he maintains himself in beetween 1-4 th place they will qualify to the semi-finals. The good thing is that there is only one round to go so right now according to a futbol mathmatician they hhave a 91% chance of qualifying. In the Libertadores they are in first place in there group and have 5 points. There next game fior that tournament is on Wensday, April 2. The teams in the libertadores are split in to 8 groups and the teams in each group play other teams in there respective groups, The play each team twice Home and away and in the end the teams in 1st and 2nd from each group qualify.
